The Position: PMO IT Program Director
The Project Management Office (PMO) is a newly established organization within Ryte that will play a critical role in directing and overseeing the company’s current and future technology product development release management.
This is a full-time position, working at the technology development office in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. No remote work for this position. You will be working full-time for the Ryte team under the supervision of the Country General Manager.
The Role:
As a pioneering role, the PMO IT Program Director shall establish the Agile PMO governance, processes, and practices within the HealthCare Data Analytics Life Cycle in collaboration with the executives and business unit managers, particularly the data analytics development teams. The incumbent will direct and oversee the proper release of features in the data analytics pipeline.
To fill this senior management role, the right candidate shall have solid experience in IT service delivery in big data analytics, Business Intelligence, artificial intelligence, and machine learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation of the PMO organization, including recruiting of staff and managers, developing roles and responsibilities, and establishing governance, processes, and artifacts.
- Engage with clients, senior leaders, and internal stakeholders to assess and understand business requirements and their alignment to strategic and operational goals.
- Overall accountability for the agreed-upon objectives of the PMO office with the business executives and relevant stakeholders.
- Directly oversee and control the project and product release processes throughout the Data Analytics Life Cycle.
- Develop, measure, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for PMO in the areas of successful product releases, financials, learning and development.
- Perform regular audits of the project management system and processes to uphold practices that lead to successful repeatable outcomes as well as remove potential project constraints and risks.
- Uphold disciplined assessment and control of new feature requests and improvements that are incorporated into the product release.
- Rigorous examination and validation of capacity estimations to ensure project deliverables meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and seek agreements to keep deliverables on track within budget and time scales.
- Promptly meet with the project management and data analytics teams to review all root cause of failures in the release processes, the corresponding countermeasures, and the controls needed to prevent recurrence.
- Regularly update executives and key stakeholders on the status of projects and product releases.
- Escalate to executives all strategic issues that disrupt product delivery.
- Maintain a safe environment for people to think and act creatively in order to contribute value to the business and clients.
- Coach and mentor subordinates and internal stakeholders in best practices methodologies in project management, team collaboration, product release management, change management, data warehouse, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Plan, assign, and monitor training resources to subordinates with the objectives of providing world-class continuing professional education and achieving high level of performance in relevant disciplines and methodologies.
- Conduct research in finding the best-in-class methodologies and technologies in project management, release management, change management, and data warehousing.
- Promote team collaboration, personal excellence and effectiveness, and model such behaviors himself/herself.
