Who we are

Following a business conference in Kazakhstan, Adam Kene (Founder of Kene Partners, UK) recognised the opportunity and talent available in Kazakhstan and formed Konnect.

Konnect’s primary objective as a business is to provide professional technical report- writing services to Kene Partners. Once this is underway, future plans for Konnect are set to include delivering high-quality product services worldwide.

Konnect’s sister company, Kene Partners, is a UK-based Ramp;D tax consultancy which believes superb client service is delivered through a blend of talent and technology.

Requirements

On a day-to-day basis you will be:

  • Participating in the company’s extensive internal technical training program with the objective of having a strong understanding of Ramp;D tax legislation and legislative language on completion
  • Conducting preliminary research for further discussion at client workshops
  • Attending and supporting in client workshops and detailed technical interviews
  • Writing and preparing high-quality technical reports about innovation in a particular field of science and/or technology
  • Assessing and interpreting technical information gathered during workshops and interviews to draft the technical reports to support the Ramp;D activities of our clients
  • Gaining sector knowledge by proactively working with a wide variety of clients this will allow you to gain an understanding of a range of innovative technologies across the fields of science and technology
  • Understanding the Ramp;D criteria and applying these concepts across a wide range of sectors

Progression in your first year will look like:

  • Completing the initial technical training to a high standard to ensure you have the capability to draft informative and accurate technical reports on an individual basis
  • Be highly confident preparing accurate client-related research documents, efficiently identifying Ramp;D and the technology used ahead of workshops and technical discussions
  • Actively participating in the firm’s internal financial training and taking on financial analysis aspects of the role to progress your overall knowledge of the claim process

You will have:

  • Recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in any of the following STEM disciplines:
  • Civil Engineering,
  • Mamp;E Engineering,
  • Robotics,
  • Computer Science,
  • Material Science,
  • or related STEM disciplines
  • Values that align with ours
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong numerical ability and great attention to detail
  • Self-motivation with a passion to deliver quality work
  • Exceptional time, client, and project management skills
  • Logical aptitude with a problem-solving mindset
