We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Finance Manager (FM) to oversee and guide their Finance and Accounting activities to support their rapid growth and continued success. This person should be experienced in managing Finance for a global company and have prior FM experience.

This is a full-time position, out of the Astana office in Kazakhstan working for the RYTE Management team under the supervision of the RYTE CTO. Europe- and North America-based candidates who are willing to relocate to Kazakhstan are welcome to apply.


As part of this role, you will be:


  • Responsible for all financial planning, accounting and operations of the Kazakhstan office including the development of financial strategies, policies, procedures, control systems, reporting, and analysis designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.
  • Managing the liquidity of the organization to ensure that there is sufficient cash to fund the department’s operations.
  • Leading and managing the financial activities of the other sites globally including but are not limited to the Canadian, French, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, and future offices.

Key Responsibilities include:

Financial Function

  • Execute Controller functions including financial controls and compliance, Profit and Loss (Pamp;L), Cash management, General accounting, Annual audits, and Tax compliance.
  • Ensure consistent execution of master data management including General Ledger (GL), client, supplier set-up/amendments and client credit checks as needed, risk adjustment, revenue collection, compliance, and reporting.
  • Perform Treasury Services including Workers’ Compensation and Third-Party Liability analysis as applicable.
  • Manage the Revenue Cycle.
  • Perform Actuarial Services such as monitoring claims/determination of Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR), Revenue planning and Fee Schedule and Risk Adjustment and Medical Loss Ratio (MLR) reporting.
  • Experience and expertise on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).


Efficient and Effective Financial Operations

  • Coordinate and manage the financial activities of the organization, including but not limited to overseeing the day-to-day activities of expense management, general accounting, AR and AP processing, Payroll, General Ledger, financial controls, reporting amp; financial statements, budget analysis, financial planning, short- and long-term business strategy, investments, cash management, internal risk management, corporate finance, and auditing.
  • Manage supplier invoice processing including, but not limited to posting invoices, answering supplier queries, and following up approval of invoices.
  • Provide leadership, direction and management of the Finance and accounting teams.
  • Analyze financial data and operational and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial presentations to senior management.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial controls reporting and profitability.
  • Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits, providing information to external auditors.
  • Assist on other tasks or projects as the need arises within advised guidelines.


Strategic Involvement

  • Provide strategic financial management and leadership support across the business, in line with the overall corporate strategy.
  • Create the annual operating plan that is aligned with the company's strategic direction.
  • Ensure a competitive and sustainable cost revenue ratio of the organization.
  • Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
